Osmeroid #1 Posted April 18, 2002 At last!!! I've got my grubby paws on a copy of Crackpots!!! What a great game, a real classic from Activision, sadly though, I suck at playing it - top score of 22K. Anyone else play this little beauty often?
Joel D. Park #2 Posted April 18, 2002 Crack Pots is definately in my list of Play-Me games, I enjoy it quite a bit. I have't played it in a long time though.
liveinabin #3 Posted April 18, 2002 Crack-pots? Activision? Whoah, I've never heard of it! Here I am trying to get all the Activision titles and that one slipped me by. Is it one of the later titles?
MattyXB #4 Posted April 18, 2002 I have only Boom Bang a german version of this game. But I don't like it. Sorry.

To the best of knowledge, it was never released in PAL format (although my very dodgy memory still insists that I saw it in a Beatties store back home and once in Walsall). I think it has the code AX-029, so around about the time of Robot Tank, Decathlon and Space Shuttle '83 or '84-ish.
Mountain King #6 Posted April 18, 2002 This game took me a while to find for some reason. I didn't think it was that rare. It was the last game I found in the wild, the cool part is that the guy let me have it for free.

I think Walsall is NTSC anyway Hmm, I think I'm gonna have to mod a UK Atari (for NTSC colours) and buy a bunch of US games.
