Gunstar #1 Posted October 24, 2005 (edited) Yes! It IS possible to scan your hands with this device, but it's name is actually meant for the way you hold it in your hand, sor of like a really big mouse, or Dust-Buster hand vaccum. Not like todays standard tray scanners. Anyway, I picked up a pair of these for cheap on E-bay, it came with two scanners that plug into tow cartridges with a couple of different scanning programs on disk. what it did not come with at the time, and I did not think about, were the power pack(s). I assumed, like most cartirdges, including the large SpectreGCR, that it got it's power from the ST. Anyway, the situation and point of this topic, is that I need to know what the voltage and amperage is supposed to be to replace it. Also becuase if someone else wants a working hand scanner, with software, docs, cart and scanner, with no PS, I'll sell it for cheap. Just $10 plus shipping, it all probably weighs a pound.
