OK, so it's topol777 vs. joet7777. This seems very odd to me. Is someone intentionally bidding up on auctions that topol is in? I thought I saw this joet7777 in another 5200 auction.

 

You know, for my part, I think I am going to give eBay a break for awhile. It's just not worth it with resellers bidding on stuff and then (as someone pointed out earlier) taking a loss on it when they turn around to sell it. I just like to collect and do just a little selling now and then, but not at this price.

 

Edit: and there is NO WAY this lot costs $20 to ship. Sheesh.

Yeah, it could cost more than $20 Express, Priority, GPM, EMS..

 

 

A long time 5200 collector pushed that one up to the that price.

I made the post before the auction ended and before Ron's bid. Before that, it was all about the 7's. I was just curious about the new 7 guy.

 

Then $20 was quoted for UPS rates. And to spend $20 on USPS priority, it's got to be pretty heavy, no?

5200 carts are pretty big, I don't have the scale setup to check, but I'd guess that's over 10 pounds at least, maybe pushing 15 boxed up.

Why would you possibly consider bidding with that feedback ? Its one thing when its an everyday Joe, but this seller looks to be a Ebay broker, which means he should be especially attentive to the items he sells. Way too many negs to even look at what he has for sale imo.

i wanted the zenji; that's the only reason i looked at it. i didn't bid after getting a look at the feedback. blah.
