I love Pressure Cooker!

Recommended Posts

I just got my Pressure Cooker (among other awesome games) cart from King Asmo (who I HIGHLY recommend you buy from, he's got an exceptional selection of upper uncommon and low rare, as well as common, games for reasonable prices), anyway I got my cart and I just finished playing an hour marathon session, and I just wanted to say that I totally love this game. Not many atari games require so much thought and mental exercise. What an incredible game!

Any other "Grille" fanatics out there?

Short order Stan

Great! Now I gotta get 5200! Sheesh!

Anyways, Pressure Cooker a little hard to come by, but it plays quite well on the emu as well.

Ebay can be a little too expensive sometimes. If you want, Im sure anyone with a copy for trade would gladly let you buy it off em, all you gotta do is ask! Its probally my all time fave atari game. Youd really like it. Do you have an emulator? might wanna try it on there to make sure youll like it

This is one of my favorite Atari games as well. Everytime someone makes a top 5 Atari game post I am always disappointed that this game does not show up on many peoples lists. I would have to say that it is number 2 on my top five, right behind Kaboom!

Yeah, that is very true E-Bay sometime very expesnive to buy some Atari games. I will be glad to ask anyone who have Boxed Pressure Cooker on this board, trade or I willing to pay, either.

I never try and play with Pressure Cooker, it could be lots fun!!!

I bought mine in the store. But it was one of those games I was really satisfied with. Thats the one thing about Atari games when you bought them new, long ago. You ran that risk that you would be disappointed by them. Games I've been reaaly satisified with:

Pressure Cooker

Jr. Pac Man

Solaris

Midnight Magic

Masters of the Universe the Power of He-Man

Spacemaster X-7

Star Trek

California Games

Some of these games were like $30 when they came out, so you want your money's worth.

Just need to chime in and say that Pressure Cooker is one of the best games for the 2600. I don't know why I always forget about it when trying to make a top-ten list of the best games. It's just pure fun to play.

I can't wait to play Pressure Cooker, it looks great. Only thing holding me back is that the only thing about my Atari collection that I'm immovably strict about, is Activision games - I have to have them boxed with instructions - and picture label only. I hope one comes around soon

I totally agree with Stan, this is one of the very best 2600 games available and play it regulalry (can get 130K score at best).

I just got my boxed copy of this title a couple of weeks ago (I have 2 loose carts of it).

What a game, yes indeed!!

I hate to say this but pressure cooker is another game that I have in my collection but have not played yet. One of these days I'm going to have to sit down and start playing all of these games that I have in my collection, it should only take about 2 months.

203,190....getting better.

This game is more difficult on emulators than the real thing, not like Spiderr fighter - that seems easier on an emulator.

Actually, that high score I got back in the day was on the emu, so for me the emu is much easier actually!

That is a great game.

A similar game is Piece Of Cake. It's kinda rare and I bet many haven't bothered to try it. It's the same concept as Pressure Cooker (more or less) but with layers of cake (and candles on top) and you use the paddle controllers.
