Anyone else play this game?

 

I know it didn't get great reveiws and its true, there is a big learning curve.

 

Once I got the hang of it, I learned to love this game. I still play it with friends over the net from time to time.

I used to play it all the time. After I got bored with it I downloaded the cheat files. They let you absolutely pummel your opponent. You make ships in 1 day, and are virtually indestructable. I know it's cheating, but fun regardless

After I saw this thread, I had to find out more about this game. Seems interesting to me, although I haven't been able to find it in the stores around where I live. I think I'd have to order this online to play.

Then it's PERFECT for my system! Yay!!

 

And yes, I'm a little behind the times. There's SO MANY PC games out there to play!!!! AUGH!!

Seems that a better choice for this kind of game would be Master of Orion. I've had a bit of fun even with MOO3, which the nerds of the genre insist is so very weak. It's cheap, too, if you can find it.

 

And it runs on an old machine!

Rebellion sucked. Hard.

 

As was mentioned - the Master of Orion games are about six billion times better.

Thanks for the link to MOO. I have all of them, actually, but my original MOO disc doesn't work and that link is just what I needed.
