Question about PAL Intellivision Games

i have 4 Intellivision games that say For PAL System only. can i play them in my US Intellivision 1? i am Kinda scared to just try as i dont want to kill the game or my system.

The Intellivision doesn't care what region it's from, nor does it matter if the cart was a PAL or NTSC cart - it'll work fine.

I bought a SECAM Mousetrap from an electronic junk store a few years ago, but I never bothered playing it once I read on the instruction manual that it was from France, and wasn't NTSC. I guess I need to find it and try it out.

i have not had time to try i have had a bad flu for over the past week.. i am feeling a little better i hope to have time to play them this week sometime..
