Hey there,

How mechanical are you? Pinballs can be a fun experience, but are also a lot of maintenance.

I'd recommend an EM machine for a first experience as they are simpler to work on.

Not always the case. A lot of game repair shops won't work on EM machines because of how finicky they are. Lets say you take it to the shop to get fixed and they shop it out and give it back. It only takes one of the hundreds of contacts to go bad and mess the game up again. It could work for 10 years or a week, nobody knows, unlike solid state electronics.

I believe the newer mid 90's pins are quite simple to work on (as long as you don't get in to PCB repair. But that hardly ever happens)

Im fairly capable of simple stuff, maybe even above average. A bit better with hints/tips/advice/walkthrough's. Ive always been the kinda person anxious to take something apart thats broke to see whats wrong with it, so I feel Im slightly above average as far as repairs go, just not great at it; plus in this case I've only SEEN the insides of pinballs; but Im ready to jump into it.

I was actually looking at a Gottlieb Snow Queen but when it came down to it, the person selling decided to sell it to ther other person for personal reasons.
