I wonder how they wound up in CA?

Wasn't Mattel versions sold in Canada? Have you tested all of them yet? I guess if they were all with other PAL games, the Mattel versions are PAL as well. That's still a pretty cool find! Alot of your PAL games will work fine on a Top loader.

Any Hero Turtles or alternate titled games from US? OR any unique games?

My thoughts exactly, who checks to see if they are PAL when buying at

a flea market in CAL.

The other reason I did not notice was there was another guy who walked

up as I was looking in the boxes he still had in the van I could tell he was

very interested so I closed the deal fast. Actually it was late in the day and

he had never put them out, only showed then after I asked about video games

Looks like who ever had these was collecting games from all the

European countrys there are small removable stickers on the bottom of each

box with the country name ITALY, NORWAY, UK, SPAIN, FRANCE and some have

multiple copies of the same game just from different country

Have not had time to test anything yet still checking each game for condition

and contents, all so far are complete and near new condition. I am 99% sure the

all the games are PAL some of the Mattel Versions say "Mattel Version PAL System"

Thanks for the information about the Top loader I will need to test them on

both systems to see if they are compatable.

Still going through them but I did notice more then a few games I do not

recognize.

Also I did notice something I found unusual On all the REGION B boxes and games

there is a notice that says

Licensed by Nintendo for play on the

Nintendo Entertainment System

Then just below the above statment it says

This Game Pak cannot be used with the Mattel or NES versions of the

Nintendo Entertainment System

At first I thought it was a misprint but found all the Region B games say the

samething

I don't think I own any PAL games, but somewhere I got the impression that the toploading NES consoles would play them. :? Anyone want to confirm or deny it? I'm at work now (hard at work - heh), or I'd run a search myself.

Anyways, I'd also be interested in seeing a list.

All that means is they wont play on NTSC nintendo's. Mattel was not the MFG for the NES in Euroland.

Ok Here is the list of games.

All have the Styrafoam Box Insert and about 99% include the cart sleeve and registration card

Additionally I would Say about 75% have available game poster/inserts some even have the Plastic

Bag that holds the game.

I still need to try each one on my top loader and toaster to see which ones can be played here in

The US.

At this time I am totally at a loss as what to ask for these so if anyone would like to offer

I wanted to say since I am having trouble getting any

kind of gauge on value of these game I am leaning towards putting all

the games each separately up on ebay, This way I wont feel foolish

if I ask to much or sell for to little. I will also be able to scan each box,

Cart, Manual and Inserts and that should help anyone with condition

concerns.

I still need to test all the games so it may be a few days before I get

anything listed.

Thanks to eveyone who responded

Dennis
