lucifershalo #1 Posted November 7, 2005 Do you know if there is or will be port on that wonderful multi emulator to Palm GP32 and now GP2X and PSP?
Ze_ro #2 Posted November 8, 2005 Well, I don't know about any versions of MESS for the GP32 or the PSP... and apparently, neither does Google. Since the GP2X isn't even released yet, I think it's safe to say that no port of MESS is done for it yet (But give it time). While I like the idea of portable C64 games, handheld systems are generally ill-equipped to emulate computers well (Mostly due to lack of buttons and reading tiny fonts). MESS is especially bad as it relies on the slow (but accurate) MAME code. You're better off looking for dedicated emulators instead. --Zero

I can't wait to get my hands on one of those. <wipes up drool> ~telengard
lucifershalo #4 Posted November 8, 2005 well I use MESS mainly for non computer emulation but for atari 5200, bally astrocade and arcadia 2001 so the "missing keyboard" would not be a problem but are right it is a pain thats why I dont like to use the atari8bit emulator for playing a5200 Well, I don't know about any versions of MESS for the GP32 or the PSP... and apparently, neither does Google.
