20eyes #1 Posted November 13, 2005 I picked this up a goodwill today. Its got a purple lable underneath the white one that also, near as i can tell, says Vectron. Is this a common thing for intellivsion games?
Lord Thag #2 Posted November 13, 2005 (edited) I've seen a couple of games like that. I've got a pinball that has a white label over the normal purple one. My best guess is that it was some of the overstock INTV inherited from Mattel when they bought the Intellivision rights, and that they just slapped one of their white labels over the existing one. Don't think it's worth a bunch or anything. Vectron is a good game, btw. Strange but fun. Edited November 13, 2005 by Lord Thag

Seob #13 Posted November 14, 2005 Man that's a really dirty keyboard. I'll bet your fingers stick onto the key's like glue. If my keyboard was that dirty, i allready would have bought a new one.
SteveW #14 Posted November 14, 2005 It looks like you've got a keyboard kondom on it. Those things can be handy, if you've got a standard shaped keyboard. I spilled Mr. Pibb on my old Apple ADB keyboard years back, but I had a keyboard kondom on it, so it was fine. I've got a Logitech Internet Keyboard now, so there's no cover for it's odd shape. Lord Thag #15 Posted November 15, 2005 My first keyboard was even worse. My cat, god rest his evil, evil soul, decided it would be fun to urinate on it. I took it outside, hosed it off for like 20 minutes, and then left it out to dry. And forgot about it for two weeks (in the middle of winter). Amazingly, it still works. I've gotten much pickier since then. My current setup is one of thos cool blue backlit models with nary a dustbunny in sight...
SteveW #16 Posted November 15, 2005 Washing keyboards off like that works fine. I ended up getting some abandoned Mac keyboards that were left in a mud puddle after the vender took off during a rainstorm, and washed them off in the front yard with the garden hose. Left them in the garage for a week to dry completely, then tested them all out one by one. They worked fine, so I donated them to my mom's school. The little demonspawn kids there like breaking things (and stealing the trackballs out of the mice), so having some backup keyboards helped them out a lot.
