dgob123 #1 Posted November 14, 2005 I'd never heard of this before googling for it... Anyone else got one? APF M 1000 FAQ for it
Spirantho #2 Posted November 14, 2005 You got me excited for a bit - been looking for one of those for a while! However, what's for auction is the much more common APF M-1000 which is just a console. The Imagination Machine (much rarer!) is a computer which uses the M 1000 for games, but has loads of other special widgets, including the ability to load a game from tape while playing back audio such as speech and music from the tape (clever use of a stereo casette!) The hunt continues.....
Atari Rescue Group #3 Posted November 17, 2005 I had one of those a couple years ago. But like the one in the auction it had no power supply. Sold it on ebay and don't remember where it went. Who knows if that was the same one. The controllers seemed pretty crappy with those CV type joystick knobs.
keilbaca #4 Posted November 17, 2005 Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.......... I have been looking for one for so long... and go figure it goes for $4. I don't care if it has no power supply, I can easily make one for that thing. I have games for it, I used to own one as a kid, and I want one again. FND #5 Posted November 17, 2005 I have the Imagination Machine along with hook ups and instruction Manual but sadly I am also missing the Power Supply. Also have a boxed MP1000 and all the games and Basic cart. The Power supply for the Imagination machine has proven to be one of the hardest items I have ever searched for, I have been checking and watching for one probably going on 8 or 9 years now If anyone knows of were to find the Original power supply for the Imagination Machine please let me know
