dinoboy38 #1 Posted November 29, 2005 I've notice that there were certain things that happen in a handfull of Atari2600 games that shown that you have beaten it. Sometimes the graphics might go out of whack, things dissapear, or the screen goes blank. Here are the few things I know about Yar's Revenge- score 75,000 and the orange shield that surrounded Yar changes to Blue, the multicoolored graphic jambled protector shield dissapears and the flashiing line and Yar comes at you really fast. Demon Attack- The screen goes black and a mono-tone sound is heard.\

shadow460 #4 Posted November 30, 2005 Yars' Revenge isn't beaten at 75,000. 75,000 is where the computer actaully starts playing. The manual tells you that at 75,000, the shields turn blue and the swirl frequency triples. At 150,000, the shield turns grey. The swirl frequency returns to normal, but the swirl "will remain in flight to hit you." It simply homes in on you, changing directions on a dime. At 225,000, the shield turns pink and the swirl frequency triples, with the swirl still "remaining in flight to hit you." To lock up Yars' Revenge, hit the swirl with your Zorlon Cannon repeatedly. Hanging out on the black "ghost" won't work. You gotta hit like six or eight swirls in a row, midair or not, and then it'll lock up and display an easter egg.
