a big ball of wires in a box

Is pretty much what i found today after opening a package that I had won on ebay. I'm mean its all in one huge knot! Does this happen to alot of people? Why do people package auctions like this!

So I open the next box and this guy packed EVERYTHING in paper toweling, so now my trash can is filled with paper towels. I guess i'm just never happy. lol

Paper towel I could live with (though it's cheap packaging). A big knot of cabling however would piss me off. It just tells me that the seller is criminally lazy and can't be bothered with a proper packaging job. The last thing I want to do is spend more time unpacking everything than the seller did packing it up. (Unless the reason for the long-ass unpacking job is because everything was packed well enough to survive a care package drop shipment)
