Why pay retail when you can pay more?

Recommended Posts

Why would ebay let that seller stay on ebay? They have a ton of auctions that ended at .01 and they have tons of Negs. My Target had about 50 of them in stock last night for $29.95

Sadly it's not the first I've seen; there's another FB2 unit with a BIN price of $37.50 - not including shipping. I just don't get it -- these things are still in stores at US$30 a pop! I guess these sellers are hoping for a fish.

The $0.01 auctions are painfully obvious -- the one linked above started at $10 but the bidding has obviously gotten out of hand. Rediculous! As to his feedback -- it's bad alright, especially with the neutrals, and a lot of them seem to involve misrepresented product -- but did you notice now many mutual withdrawls he has? Makes me wonder just how he gets the buyers to agree to one...

:-o My god that shipping is high. I hope he at least drives across country to your door.

Sadly he's one city over from me -- I could take a cab there for less than it would cost to ship that. Except he charges $6 to pickup, and there's always the chance he couldn't find it when I got there. :P :D

Thats the easy part with Ebay feedback both got a Neg and both want them removed. He's a bad seller that waits to leave feedback and if he get a neg he gives one.

I don't know -- I see tons of mutual neg exchanges with crappy sellers, and most of them stick; in the average "power seller" feedback list (y'know, the sort that do such volume that they get like 10-20 negs or more a month) I see tons of negs and neutrals, but very few withdrawls. This guy has more withdrawls than I've ever seen in one person's feedback. I'm tempted to think he tries to extort withdrawls from his buyers somehow.

I don't see why anyone bothers with ebay. Too many ways to get screwed and it's easy to get a bad reputation when you did nothing wrong.

Reminds me of a web design site I joined for a short time where everyone was supposed to review each others web sites. If you give someone a bad review, they immediately give you a bad one no matter what. Total waste of time.
