Atarinvader #1 Posted May 7, 2002 That top spot is mine by the end of the week! I've just landed myself a 5.97 beating Stan with ease and equaling Jaybird and Osmeriod. And you Spider Fighter fools best watch yo'selfs! huhuhuhu
StanJr #2 Posted May 7, 2002 Dude, shut up! I'm the King of the Ranch on Stampede and the Head Chef on Pressure Cooker. You got nothin'. As for Dragster, that's all you, I tried it on the emu the other day and couldn't even make a serious attempt. Spider Fighter, snore. I got like 200,000 on it today (took about 3 hours) but not on my emu so no pic. I got no time to waste on that loser. Give me a new bundle to play, I'll have all the scores! Bring it! trash talkin' Stan
Atarinvader #3 Posted May 7, 2002 Your sorry ass just never had no competition. Osmeriod? ha! JayBird? No way! I don't mean to pick on anyone... You're all equally losers in my book. I hadn't even ever played Dragster till yesterday, and look at my time 5.97. The only reason why Stan don't like it is because its a mans sport. Dish out as much fighting talk as you like, I'll see you on the scoreboards (looking down)...

ATARIPITBULL #6 Posted May 8, 2002 Smart Patrol is the king of the dragster.
liquid_sky #7 Posted May 8, 2002 yes, that he is. http://www.activisionquest.tk new URL. Less typing. Sounds better. told you guys id be takin good care of ya when i relaunched the quest.. look for the new cluster soon, by weeks-end. Everyone seemed to be getting so into the dragster groove I didnt wanna throw anyone off by introducing anythign new.. but rememner, you can send scores in ANY TIME. p.s. working on email stuff, soon ittl be even easier to submit scores. [email protected] how can anyone forget that? Yes indeed, good things are ahead..
Osmeroid #8 Posted May 8, 2002 I think it's the fact that a round on Dragster only takes a few seconds to play that has made it so popular - that and you always feel that you're SO close to beating you previous pb. Can you imagine having Laser Blast on here?!?!? I think all most everyone could rack-up the 1,000,000 score on this and takes hours to get there. Barnstorming & Sky Jinks would be worthy successors to Dragster.
smf_4ever #9 Posted May 8, 2002 Holy crispy crap guys!!!!! Nice Scores!!! [ 05-08-2002: Message edited by: smf_4ever ]
liveinabin #10 Posted May 8, 2002 Sorry, guys. I own Dragster. My PB is 5.74 (I did have a shot posted on AA a while back but I've lost it - and I couldn't equal it today ) But, for the sake of the competition, here's a 5.77 I just did.

Atarinvader #12 Posted May 8, 2002 5.77? Puchu...
+johnnywc #13 Posted May 8, 2002 Hey - this competition thing is cool. How about throwing in Skiing (game #3) or Grand Prix (game #1)? PS I suck at Dragster, so I'll let that competition pass me by... Hey Stan - what's your best on Stampede? Mine is somewhere around 4000 - not sure exactly... StanJr #14 Posted May 9, 2002 5254 is my Stampede best and man it was tough to get. I can get in the 3000's regularly, but its tough to crack 4000! I love Stampede though.
fmctm1sw #15 Posted May 9, 2002 This looks like way too much fun. I like stampede too. But I don't have any of the games anyone mentioned. I'll have to seek them out...
StanJr #16 Posted May 9, 2002 My Pressure Cooker score isn't even that good. Why are you people so scared to challenge me? No one has posted even an attempt at my 150K. Are ya yella?
Atarinvader #17 Posted May 9, 2002 Don't worry Stan, I'm gonna kick your ass all the way from Stampede to Pressure Cooker, 'round to Spider Fighter and back to Dragster.. Jus' give me a few weeks to finish my final college exams!
StanJr #18 Posted May 9, 2002 excuses, excuses.
Osmeroid #19 Posted May 9, 2002 Pressure Cooker is much trickier on an emulator, I have no digi-cam to record my console scores.... not that I can get 150,
D.Yancey #20 Posted May 9, 2002 Many games are much more difficult on an emulator. I sure agree with that. You could take a photo on film and scan it and e-mail it. The world record for Dragster is 5.51! It was not set on an emu.
StanJr #21 Posted May 10, 2002 If I could hook up my VCS joystick to the emu it would all be over. Trying to play any atari game with this blasted Sidewinder crap is misery.
Atarinvader #22 Posted May 10, 2002 Dragster is evil with a joystick on my emu. I usualy hold the stick and smack the bottom to change gears, which I don't think does it too much good. As for Stampede, if I don't play it on StellaX, I've got to cycle through my copy of 32 in 1 and I use a Master System control pad, which I find is the most responsive. Osmeroid #23 Posted May 10, 2002 Someone got a 5.51 on Dragtser?! I was feeling quite pleased with myself getting 5.97 - until Liveinabin thrashed everyone here with 5.74. Damn.

D.Yancey #25 Posted May 10, 2002 Hey Thomas J., I see they got our Starmaster scores up on Twin Galaxies for games 1 and 2 but not for games 3 and 4. Really great scores man!!
