Snider-man #1 Posted May 9, 2002 Normally, I'd do this myself, but I have no time. So, I'll toss this idea out to the folks here who have a passable art ability. When I go to the video game store, I see the new Spider-Man movie games sitting in a row. PS2 version, Xbox version, Gamecube version. My quest is to design a Parker Brothers Atari 2600 Spider-Man label using the logo and box art from this new release. (I have a spare Spider-Man cart to paste it on and it'd be a cool conversation piece.) If anyone wants to cobble it together, I'd appreciate it. Else, I'll do it myself later this week. Albert #2 Posted May 10, 2002 Just curious, are you intending to slap this on a Parker Brothers cart or an Atari cart? ..Al
Snider-man #3 Posted May 10, 2002 PB, of course! Bit more of a challenge getting the dimensions of those style labels though...
Albert #4 Posted May 10, 2002 Well, I probably have a Parker Brothers cart I can sacrifice for this purpose. All I need to do is find a Frogger or Q*bert with a poor label, but one that I can cleanly remove. Then I can scan it flat at a high resolution and bring it into Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro for precise measurements. Could even make a template based on it, with the proper silver background. ..Al
