Banjo Twooie Honorable Mentions: Rastan (arcade) Warioland
vdub_bobby #27 Posted December 14, 2005 I can't believe I forgot Kid Icarus - nonetheless, it goes, easily, in my top 20, and maybe top 10. I love that game. And I'd say any platformer is any game where you jump on platforms. There are plenty of subgenres there - adventure platformers (Zelda II, Faxanadu, Metroid, etc.), scrolling platformers (SMB, MegaMan) vs non-scrolling platformers (Bubble Bobble), but they're all platformers. +Omegamatrix #28 Posted December 14, 2005 In no particular order: Megaman 2 Contra Super Mario Bros. 2 Super Metroid Metroid Bionic Commando Pitfall! Jumpman Jr. That's all I can think of at the moment.
classicgamingguy #29 Posted December 14, 2005 Here are mine: Pitfall Super Mario Brothers Metroid Legend of Zelda II (believe it...or not!) Mega Man Sonic the Hedgehog Pitfall II Shinobi Bionic Commando ( ) Contra These really aren't in order of preference..I'd have to say SMB takes the top spot and Metroid second place.
