The PAL TIA has a different pinout than the NTSC TIA. Being that 8bitdomain is in Dallas Texas I bet the AV Mod is for the NTSC Atari.

Incidentally, if you need an NTSC Atari or a modded PAL Atari let me know... I've got a spare Heavy 6er here I've not got around to modding yet, and loads of other flavours.

does anyone know if i can simply swap my PAL TIA with an NTSC one to make the Mod work?

And if so... where can i get NTSC TIAs???

I'm not sure but I think that will not work. You need to use a different mod, or adapt the 8bit mod to the different pinout.

The NTSC and PAL TIAs are completely different pinwise. You'd need a little circuit to sort it all out and even then I'm not sure what would happen. PAL and NTSC Ataris are quite different inside.
