Jawbreaker

I'm looking for Jawbreaker but am having trouble finding it. I used to have it on tape years ago for my Atari 800, and I assume the 2600 cartridge is the same game.

Any help appreciated.

Actually the 2600 version is a translation of Jawbreaker 2. The original was a total Pac-Man clone but the sequel used a moving playfield and is far superior

I had an Atari 800 that I had to load the game from tape with, and if I'm not mistaken, the game was by Sierra Online.

So, I guess you're saying if I want this game I'll have to find another 800 and the game on tape (or was there an original cartridge ?). The game by Tigervision doesn't look like the exact same game if the emulation version is accurate.

The 2600 game (by TigerVision) is altogether different. I like it more, because it's not a Pac-Man clone; it's actually really imaginative, and surprisingly addictive. But if you want the first Jawbreaker, I have a floppy full of John Harris's different versions, including the original (which was available in stores, etc.). He sent me the floppy himself. (Nice guy!) You'll need a 400, 800 or XE, as well as a disk drive. E-mail me at [email protected] if you'd like me to send you a copy.
