+Omegamatrix #5 Posted December 21, 2005 The biggest problem with eBay is there is no accountability, and I don't know how to make it any better. This seller is a simply horrible. The worst thing is he thinks what he is doing is okay. I'm sorry you didn't get your stuff Buyatari.

Adam i had a local offer yesterday morning. i was selling my items locally in my town. if he flakes i guess your my second. sorry Well , whats the worst here are the circumstances. If I had won this auction for $5,000.00 this would not have happened. He did mention he might end the auction early which was fine I can live with that. That he had this collection listed for sale elsewhere is plausable. I knew upfront before I bid so I can accept that. But here he just put that in there incase the auction didn't sell for enough money. In a message dated 12/20/2005 8:32:53 PM Eastern Standard Time, writes:some of the items were sold so i can't ALL of the items were sold TO ME. In your first email you said I was your "second" if he backs out NOW you say some items were already sold. Thats ok play it your way. I can't stop you but don't expect me to believe any of this crap. Almost Rice #8 Posted December 21, 2005 Well , whats the worst here are the circumstances. If I had won this auction for $5,000.00 this would not have happened. 986380 This is because he did not want to use a Reserved Auction. I notice that no matter how well you advertise, Reserve auctions tend not to be very active.
RickHarrisMaine #9 Posted December 21, 2005 Does eBay lose the fees too? the FVF on that amount can't be too small.

His "Local offer" is meaningless if he intends to do business on EBay.
Buyatari #12 Posted December 22, 2005 Does eBay lose the fees too? the FVF on that amount can't be too small. They get the FVF unless he files a non-paying bidder form and if he does I get an email first. THATS not gunna happen. He would have to have balls of steel to pull that one off after I reported him as a non-selling seller and copied the emails he sent through the eBay email system.
