Doesn't seem very shameless, I get why you're doing that both working with the company and the cheap boxed item with the HDMI dongle, but the titles are of a whole other caliber.

Actually, the design and functionality is patented by AtGames. In terms of game listings, I think you'll find they're generally comparable.

just got the Jakks 2008 12-1 namco plug n play.

its decent, but I'M RIGHT HANDED and the BUTTONS ARE ON THE LEFT. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH

so any games that require shooting, or speedup/smoke/doors/bombs etc, are unplayable for me.

if you can find it cheap, its still worth playing.

yes, i could resolder the connectors, and flip it upside down, but then pole position wouldn't work with the twisty stick.

oh well.

If by flipping upside down you mean 180 degree rotation (and switch buttons) then the twisty control should work just as well (yes the video cord would be on the wrong side like the dreamcast joypad so to speak)

right, i meant rotate the controls. i don't mind the buttons.

i actually tried playing it that way, but i kept messing up going left, instead of going right. its kind of a handicap.

also, the placement of the buttons, forces you to use your thumb to press it.

i actually got to 300k, wave 30 on galaga using my right hand to move, before quitting.

but for other games, you need split second timing to get far, like in dig dug.

Well, Arcade1Up made some changes to their so-called Pac-Man Collection plug and play game selection...

Pac-Mania

Dig Dug

Pac-Man

Mappy

New Rally-X

Galaga

Rolling Thunder

Galaga '88

Super Xevious

Dragon Spirit

No

Pac-Man Plus

Super Pac-Man

Pac-Land

Pac & Pal

Xevious

I wonder what went wrong?!

i prefer the newer listing, a lot better selection,

and more unreleased gamers compared to the same

old ones from before.

Indeed, except Pac-Land would be nice as it's never been released on any plug and play yet, though it is now more a Namco collection than Pac-Man, I like Pac-Mania along with the additions of Galaga '88, Dragon Spirit, Rolling Thunder and Super Xevious! ?

You can add some of the home versions of pac-land i think through an SD card, and maybe play it that way.

the giant Atari 2600 is out, but $150 is too much, there's a pac-man one too.

Wow! -- this is easily the most un-ergonomic "joystick" that I have ever seen. Is it really intended to be a functional system or just some bizarre display piece?

I would pay Cdn$10 (US$7.96) just for the novelty of the thing, but no more.

Both functions, art piece, and playable.
