Sniper Elite, Be a sneaky SOB

Recommended Posts

Realy graphic, rated "M" by Namco. Anybody else check this out yet?

I you like Military FPS's, sniping and general mayhem, this is it. I'm only to the second mission after a week and I'm playing on easy mode for now, but its a good challenge. Great variables like gravity(for rookie) and wind and temp on the higher difficulties as well as sound-masking (firing during an explosion) for covert kills. Pistols and machine guns also for close quaters combat. Bum rushing (what I call a Rambo charge) the enemy with a machine gun works a little also. And a super-cool slow-mo bullet-cam effect for headshot kills, a la Korn's "Freak on a Leash" Music video.

I done hypeing, I'm going to blow someones head off, or meaby just the side of it.

Here's the link The screen shots dont do it much justice.

I have to admit...I'm really starting to like Namco these days. They have managed to hang in there...and put out some of the quirkiest but yet very fun games for the consoles. And while they do port their popular titles for the various consoles, I also like the fact that they keep exclusives for the systems as well.

And then...looking at their website just now...I spot this...another 2600 game has been reborn it appears...

Good prices to, KD was $20, We love Katamari was $25 or $30. Sniper Elite was $40. I took a gamble getting this one, I rarely buy a brand new game(5 or 6 a year). Compared to "Call of Duty 2" Collectors edition for $59. I did get COD2 for a friend as a gift, and will play that to when they get done.
