ninjarabbit
AD&D Heroes of the Lance for the NES. Absolutely horrid play control and if you somehow manage to get past the play control you can literally beat the game in 5 minutes.
Vic George 2K3
The worst game I have HEARD of? Probably the Conker the squirrel game that ended up being on the Nintendo 64, who later went on to star in a sequel/update game for the X-Box. There's probably some other games of similar disrepute that I can think of.
Gregory DG
I played Conker on a N64 emulator. It was pretty fun, IMO. Has anyone mentioned Total Recall for the NES? I heard it was pretty bad.
Joe C.
Pit Fighter. 988549 Pit Fighter for the Genesis is a good game. "You Die" "Duh Best"
Pinball Wizzard
Genesis version of Revolution X was even worse than that of SNES. I just turned music in the game off, turned on my ghetto blaster and put "Get a Grip" cassete into it. Then it was more playable.
Spoon
Has anyone mentioned Total Recall for the NES? I heard it was pretty bad. I've played it on the Amiga. A little generic, but not bad.
~llama
Is Zero Wing on Genesis bad, or just the internationally-known Engrish?
8th lutz
Is Zero Wing on Genesis bad, or just the internationally-known Engrish? 990525 It is just known for its bad translation. People don't talk about the gameplay, graphics, and sound much about Zero Wing. There are different versions of Zero Wing have the same translation issue. +Cafeman
Cosmic Carnage, on the Sega 32x, is the worst game I can remember actually playing. You have to experience it to understand why. I think Karateka on 7800 is close though.
n8littlefield
The worst one I've played was definately Hydlide on the NES. Terrible game. It's sort of an RPG, but you attack enemies by just kind of walking into them. Horrible stuff. Edit: Oh and Conker is an incredibly fun game. The mechanics are a bit dated now, but the humor is still great... Edited December 29, 2005 by n8littlefield
Dones
I am surprised no one has mentioned "Superman 64".
