LanDi #16 Posted December 30, 2005 This looks very exciting. Can't wait for more information. CDs and all similar media don't really cut it, the slightest scratch on them can be a real hinderance, bad news if you're a collector of rare software. Hopefully it will be well received. This could be the most exciting development in the Jag scene for years.
GT Turbo #17 Posted February 9, 2006 Last info about this revolution, in the Jag CF you will got : - 8 megs of SD Ram (That means 10 megs Jag !) - PS2 port - New UART SCPCD will do the best add on never seen on the Jag, enjoy or die... ls650 #20 Posted February 9, 2006 OK. You put a compact flash into a Jaguar; then what? Does this mean you'd be able to treat it like a Flash-ROM cart? What can this CF2 actually do?

Fredifredo #22 Posted February 9, 2006 (edited) OK. You put a compact flash into a Jaguar; then what? First , Just try to find shells, PCB and eproms 27C160 to make carts with only 4 MB ... Second, Look the price and the size of a CompactFlash ... JagCF is the jag future ! Edited February 9, 2006 by Fredifredo
ls650 #23 Posted February 9, 2006 How does the Jaguar see this, exactly? To the Jaguar, does this look like a cart, or like a Jag-CD?

The user provides an Atari Jag cartridge they want to scrap, along with the cost of the module? This would save some time having to find catridges, and with every one you send out, you get a catridge shell to replace it.
Starcat #25 Posted February 9, 2006 Hi! I don't think you understand compact flash yet. It has nothing to do with the atari flash carts. It's a whole new format. You can neither run cart nor cd games from it. And they are right, it IS the Jag's future. Regards, Lars.
