8th lutz #1 Posted December 29, 2005 (edited) I am asking because I got a chance to buy one them. I know that they have the same Rarity. They got the same rarity as another game I own, power Strike. Edited December 30, 2005 by 8th lutz
bedouin #2 Posted December 30, 2005 Alex Kidd in Shinobi World rocked. If you were a fan of the original Shinobi you will love it. As far as rarity is concerned, Castle of Illusion for SMS is probably identical to the Game Gear version. Alex Kidd in Shinobi World was released solely on the SMS. I asked about Castle of illusion due to the praise the game got. The game it self is a 7 in the states in Digital Press rarity guide and it is much rarer the the game gear version in the states. I don't own game gear, and have no plans to due to the screen.

8th lutz #6 Posted December 31, 2005 (edited) Alex Kidd in shinobi world is awsome, Castle of Illusion buy it for the Genesis!! 991680[/snapback] I do own the Genesis version. The only reason I am thinking about the sms version was do the rarity of the Us game and I read a few years ago it is different from the genesis like the Sonics for the sms. I got an idea what I was going in with Castle of Illision or with advice. I am going by which one is better. I am depending on the voters who have both games. I know the game gear version and the sms version are the same. I am considering purchasing Alex Kidd in Shinobi world now. I am aware of sms games having the same title of the genesis game. I am using the results as a back up plan if my plan of getting both games falls through. Edited January 1, 2006 by 8th lutz
Dones #10 Posted January 2, 2006 I say go for Castle of Illusion. Except for Miracle World, most Alex Kidd games sucked.
BydoEmpire #11 Posted January 4, 2006 I haven't played Castle of Illusion on the SMS, but I was pretty disappointed with Alex Kidd in Shinobi World. The game doesn't control all that well, I found it somewhat frustrating and unsatisfying. The graphics are uneven, though the audio is cool. Alex Kidd in Miracle World is awesome, and the SMS Shinobi is virtually a masterpiece, but these are two great tastes that didn't taste good together. Still, I haven't played it all that much - maybe a half dozen times. I should give it another shot as I don't think I ever made it past the third world.
