Alex #1 Posted May 18, 2002 Regarding the HES rereleases of Activision and Imagic games, are the labels different? I know the boxes have HES on them, and most of them are plastic cases, but I'm not sure about the labels. Anyone know?
MattyXB #2 Posted May 18, 2002 Most lables I have see from HES are diffrent. These I know 100%: Decathlon, Double Dragon, Enduro, HERO, Rampage, River Raid II, Summer Games, Winter Games. And Imagic games too look diffrent, but they are Rarer I think. Most they have great looking full pictures on the lable, or near the same as the normale release with bigger text at the bottom. On my site you can see Decathlon PAL (near the same as NTSC and the HES version. Thats look much diffrent. I have too: Double Dragon (great picture) Ghostbusters (big text at the bottom) My Golf (great picture) River Raid II (great picture) Summer Games (Red Lable big text) Tomcat The F-14 Fighter Simulator (great picture) For some month there were sold some Imagic 2 Pak games. I don't know if they too seperate avaible. Maybe only as 2 cartridges in one Pak. Jah Fish has some scans on his site I think. Marco(2) #4 Posted May 19, 2002 Yes, all HES labels are different from their original counterparts. As a general rule of thumb, you will recognize a HES game by its one- color label with less info than you're used to. Cheers, Marco
MattyXB #5 Posted May 19, 2002 At this moment an Australia seller has listed some games on ebay. Most are HES versions. Don't know what these Imagic games for versions. Never see them before. Maybe these are HES version from Imagic. Seller junkyard_man on Ebay

There are two two-Paks (I liked writing that down) with Imagic games, in the well-known big plastic boxes. quote: Originally posted by MattyXB: BTW Matty, why are you winking so much at us?
