Of those you listed, I have only seen Bubble Bobble and Atomic Punk (a clone of Bomberman) in an arcade. Every arcade is different. So what may have filled the arcade around the corner from you might be obscure in my neighborhood.

Well if obscure you mean by total units made (the only way to practically measure it), then yes some titles may be more obscure.

 

But for a more functional and conversational thread than a better use of the word obscure would be something that an individual has never ran across, are rarely ran across.

 

Get a clue.. And stop reading dictionaries for a living.
