Total ripoff -- gotta love the 40 quid shipping charge to N. America, too.

The price is definitely outrageous -- but I see 15 quid shipping to North and South America, which sounds about right for Royal Mail to the NA.

 

ON a side note -- how is it he can nick the icons from the GP2X website and most of the text, but he can't get the stats right? (170,000 colours? Hey, it has 17.5-bit colour! It's the extra bit-and-a-half that makes the difference)

Yeah the shipping sounds about right for NA, but the price is way to high.

 

Anyone in the US can just order from Dynamism anyhow. They got me mine in about 5 days, nice!

Is their lot from the second "not hosed" batch that was promised? I know a lot of people who got their GP2X right off pre-order got units with problems.

They are on the third batch now I believe. And I don't think they ever sold the very first production run (i.e. problem) units.

 

Plus they are in the US, and will handle all shipping (overseas) for warranty returns. Which is real nice.

The seller changed the shipping price -- it was originally 40 pounds. The unit price is still out of whack, though.

 

I really need to get this device out of my mind, as I really don't need it and wouldn't spend enough time to make it worthwhile.
