I guess it's because they always have different editors by the time the new list comes around. I like this list, some of my favorates are kinda low, but I don't really think numbers are most important. It was nice to see some 2600 games on there, especially Yars' Revenge and Kaboom!. Also, it was nice that they included arcade games this time around. I'm sure this was a difficult and fun list to make. P.S. Thank you Card Fighters Clash!! A friend and I were actually just discussing how Super Mario Bros. is the best game of all time just a few weeks ago. Nice to see that someone agrees, even if it is EGM. I actually don't have many problems with the list, though a lot of the stuff could be easily swapped around based on what your mood is at the time, though maybe that's the beauty of the 101 and up positions. I found a few things annoying, but not to the point where most of these lists put me. Halo is too high, maybe GoldenEye as well. Though we are talking consoles, and console FPSs, so GoldenEye may be okay. And GTA3 is a little too high for my tastes, just because I'm not a big fan, though I can see why it deserves to be in the top 25 at least. A few other games on the list are too new, but there actually aren't that many, which was a nice surprise. A lot of my favorites are in there, though. But where the hell is Berzerk?!?
