Toucan #1 Posted January 11, 2006 I just put up some Tested/Working Boxed TI-99/4A consoles for sale, they are the beige versions and come with Power Supply, RF Modulator, and Both Manuals. They are going for $8.99 on eBay, so they are pretty cheap (at least I think so!). Anyway, I remember some here looking for TI systems and here's a chance to get some boxed ones complete and working. txsizzler #2 Posted January 11, 2006 Sweeet.. I found two recently at a thrift store for under $5 a piece, boxed. I am sure you should be able to hit the BIN on them. Good luck!
jetset #3 Posted January 11, 2006 That is a great deal...I've been looking for a good deal on a TI, but I dont need the box, and I want the silver one. That'll be BIN'd I'm sure.
PacManPlus #4 Posted January 11, 2006 Just grabbed one! Thanks
Toucan #5 Posted January 11, 2006 You should be happy. There's also a "Read This First" and "Beginner's BASIC Card" with some of the systems, but not in all of them (so I left this out of the description). If you're one of the lucky ones you might get one with the bonus items
Cassidy Nolen #6 Posted January 11, 2006 Got one too, great deal! C
Toucan #7 Posted January 11, 2006 If anyone wants the Black/Silver systems with the same configuration as in the auction, let me know. I have 2 complete boxed Black/Silver ones that I was going to put on eBay for the same price, but if someone wants them here let me know. Just thought I would mention this for those interested in that model.

Believe it or not, I still have those items from back in '82 when I first got this machine. I actually hated the silver/black ones - the silver(aluminum) plating kept coming off at the edges (for me anyway)... and the OCD in me kept trying to glue it back... But it never stayed once it came unglued Bob Edited January 11, 2006 by PacManPlus
jaybird3rd #9 Posted January 11, 2006 I just picked one up too. I already own a silver/black unit but have been looking for a beige one for games. Thanks for such a great deal! I've still got my "Read This First" and "Beginner's BASIC Card," too, so you don't need to bundle them with mine either.
supercat #10 Posted January 11, 2006 I just picked one up too. I already own a silver/black unit but have been looking for a beige one for games. Thanks for such a great deal! 998258 I have a beige one (late wife's). The top row of keys doesn't have the legends for QUIT, DELETE, etc. and I haven't seen any photos with enough detail to make out the legends. What are the proper legends for the top row of keys? Cassidy Nolen #11 Posted January 11, 2006 Toucan, Just pm'ed you. Would MUCH rather have the silver one if possible... Cassidy

Toucan #14 Posted January 11, 2006 Just so people are up to date on what's still available, here's the breakdown: 1 Beige TI-99/4A System Complete 1 Black/Silver TI-99/4A System Complete If anyone is still interested in either of these at $8.99 just let me know. I'll probably list them on eBay in a few days if no takers.
Toucan #15 Posted January 11, 2006 Hey Toucan, let me know if you're selling off your Milton Bradley Expansion system. 998345 Consider it yours for $35 plus shipping. I've been meaning to sell it the past few months but haven't gotten around to it. The system works and comes with 2 Joysticks, power supply, and headset. I'll also toss in a few game overlays and 10 cartridges that I have for the system (Championship Baseball, Bigfoot, etc). Let me know if this is a deal. Actually, I was only kidding...The MBX will be staying with me for a while, that's too good of an item to give up (especially at $35!). Let me know if I had you going
Toucan #16 Posted January 12, 2006 Well, I just listed some more TI-99/4A's (Black/Silver) on eBay. I got all these systems in a big lot from Maine which is the reason I have so many of them. I'm trying to move them to good homes at a cheap price. The auction can be checked out here: http://tinyurl.com/777p5 These are going for $7.99 mostly due to the lack of an RF Modulator (TV hookup) and Users Guide. But hey, for $7.99 you can't go wrong with a working TI system

SteveW #18 Posted January 12, 2006 I was about to poop myself! A MBX system for $35? You totally had me going for a minute. I'm kinda upset that you aren't selling. Ah well, i'll get over it.

supercat #20 Posted January 12, 2006 I could scan mine if you'd like to make one of the inserts for yourself. 998735 Probably no need. Taping something to the keyboard should be sufficient. Debating whether I should get an Extended Basic cart or simply leave the TI alone and focus on other stuff for awhile. Is there a TI equivalent to the Supercharger loader?

Ah well, i'll get over it. 998725 Check out this auction: 8250353080 It was for an MBX and only went for $66. The seller says he has a few of the systems, try messaging him and see if I sells one to you, even for more money since they are worth at least $100. Maybe you can coax one from him!
