Devante
I just saw this on Australian Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...item=8250975986 I dunno for a 1 of a kind cart it seems like an ok price? I mean its not everyday you see a cart boxed with a rarity of 10 is it!!!! May have 2 keep an eye on this one
Omegamatrix
I belive it's PAL, because it's from Australia. The PAL Cart Database has two carts shown, and the second is the Spectravideo version like this one. Even though it's a nine & CIB it seems a little pricey at a $500 opening bid, but what do I know? If the box was pristine it would make a huge difference.
Trade-N-Games
Thats 2 high $300 is on spot at the most if it was in good condition PAL format Atari2600.com has one in stock Its still a little high but main thing is he has one for sale Edited January 12, 2006 by Trade-N-Games
Omegamatrix
Wow, that really kills the auction, eh? The one on atari2600.com is in much better condition too, and only three easy payments of $135 if you like. Sometimes the payments are never that easy though. Devante
Looks like the guy took your advice its now a starting bid of 300 and no buy it now!!!!!!!!!!! I thought $500 was a bit high considering the other one is for sale!

Shawn
Poor SOB is only selling it cause of a "Wife" too. Man am I glad my Wife supports the idea that I enjoy gaming. She says its "cute". Whatever It keeps the carts in the house.
Dino
Too bad the NTSC box is slightly different. otherwise it would have made a cheap CIB NTSC R10 for someone! Even at $300, its still pretty pricey for a PAL cart given the condition of the box. PAL Mangias usually sell for less than $100. that box is not worth $

I thought it's only a sticker and nothing else different between pal & ntsc boxes. Although most true ntsc Spectravideo games Bumper Bash, Gas Hog, & Master Builder all come from Canada and have addresses stamped on the back from Canada, something crazy like Canadian Tire Co. I have a complete Pal Mangia that I would sell for $250 box is much nicer than the one currently up for auction. I've also got complete pal Bumper Bash & Gas Hog, but they got beat up in shipping, boxes are not in best shape for these two. Anyone interested in these? txsizzler
Well, if it isn't NTSC, someone should email the guy and tell him that he is scamming potential buyers with his listing (he claims NTSC).
video game addict
Most people only find the NTSC entries in the Atariage database and assume there must only be one version of said game. Kind of hard to fault a seller who can not find any entry for pal games on AA.

Listing it as NTSC is deceptive. I agree that there should be more info on PAL items here on AA, but it still doesn't give the seller the right to just "assume", and automatically list his item as NTSC. I will email the seller myself.

I'm actually glad Marco's not showing it. it would only lead to fakes being created. its strange that the other NTSC Spectravision boxes do not have that sticker ..... (well mine don't anyway)

I don't understand why, since the 7800 lists has "all" for the region as default... Also i think that the opening price is pretty steep. I've seen complete versions of this game in a better condition sell for less...

This would help in some cases, but if you search for a pal Mangia with region all, you still will not find any hits on Atariage. Only the NTSC cart is listed in the database here. So people from abroad go and search for this unknown cart they've picked up in a thrift store and ONLY find a reference to a very rare NTSC version, so they automatically assume it must be an NTSC cart. No fault of their own, if they are not Atari collectors.
txsizzler
NOTE: The seller revised his item, and now states that it is a PAL cartridge.
