odd trivia question

Recommended Posts

I have had this Warranty card around the store for some time and I did not know what game it came out of. It has nothing to do with the game next to it thats just for size. I have an answer i think?

Question----What game / Games came with this warranty card. small white heavy stock paper or thin paper "Game program Cartridge limited ninty day warranty"

It's weird that it looks typed... I've never seen them like that.

AFAIK, the cards were a relatively late addition; earlier on, before UPC codes started appearing on everything, the warranty used to be printed right on the back of the game boxes.

This looks cheap, so I'm thinking it's from the Tramiel era. (Of course, I've seen lots of the warranty cards from the Tramiel era and they never looked THAT cheap.)

But it says Atari INC. most Tramiel era Atari stuff would say Atari CORP. Not that it couldn't be a crossover period to the Tramiel era, but I kind of doubt it. I can't really read it because of the flash, I think it would be easier to guess maybe? if it was legible.

It's doesn't look like anything I can recall seeing/owning before, but really wish I could see it more clearly.

OK this is one answer I opened a Atari racing pak the other day to take a picture and this fell out of the Indy 500 plain white box and slot racers. I have had a warranty card sitting around for some time now and I know it came with this one. Anyone know of any others that had it? It is typed but then copied. This is a linkk to show the box i am talking about. My Webpage
