Yes, ABBA you are right. Hmmm, I could have sworn I first heard this as a MOD, but then again... the 80s... ABBA, Erasure, Mods, Crystal Hammer, Popcorn... it is all a big retro jumble in my head by now.

 

I really should lay off the Guiness. Then it probably would have made sense when I heard Madonna, or maybe I should have laid on the Guiness and it would have may sense...

Yup, that's it. In the Erasure mod.... that is where I first heard it. Erasure did do a cover of Gimme gimme gimme...
