Do you play Strat-O-Gems with...

I'm curious how many people are finding my AtariVox/memcard enhancements useful, so I can judge the value of including such features in future products.

Also can ayone post a list of all the games that support the memory card? I love the idea of the memory card for the ATARI and just want to be sure of what can take advantage of it before making the purchase of one.

I have a memory card, but no strat-o-gems yet. It's going to be my next homebrew though, so I will be using it with th ememory card for sure

Don't have Strat-O-Gems...yet. I do have both the AVox and the Memcard; when I get the game I'll probably use it with the Memcard mostly.

I don't own Strat-O-Gems yet, but I play it on my Krokocart with my AtariVox. I'm really not very good at the game (it gets too fast for me just after I hit stage 7), but that's okay because my favorite sound effect happens when you lose.

I play it with the actual cart and the atarivox. I am not very good at the game yet, but it sure is fun.

 

I think that man goes down needs to come out on cart when they start selling the atarivox again. That game really takes advantage of it and is almost required. I think that a good selection of atarivox enhanced games, that take full advantage of it,would make more people want to take the $50 plunge.

 

I personally don't think that strat-o-gems takes full advantage of the atarivox, and dosn't make people want to go out and buy both the cart and atarivox (like MGD did for me) Not that I am saying that there is much more voice you could have added to a gem dropping game.

 

Were facing a catch 22 situation. There are hardly any atarivox games so nobody buys one, and there are so few atarivoxes out there that programmers think it isnt worth the game recources to fit the extra options in.

Well, Strat-O-Gems does have 29 audio cues (which I think is more than any other cart). And the use of the EEPROM is far more extensive than anything else I know of. I really would recommend that people playing Strat-O-Gems at minimum get the memcard to enable the instant replay and the "Great Plays" saves.

i just bought a memcard for Strat-O-Gems and i strongly recommend buying one to everyone! It really adds to the game and it´s awesome to have your Highscore saved.

"Instant replay" and "Great Plays" really make this game stand out and shine!

Every time i play Strat-O-Gems i can´t believe it´s an 2600 game!

 

(maybe AA can start offering bundles: Strat-O-Gems including a MemCard or AtariVox. I would love to see these features integrated into more Homebrews)
