King_Salamon #7 Posted January 21, 2006 I think the proper name for this game should be "SighPlix" LOL!
gambler172 #8 Posted January 21, 2006 Hi Neo nice thread. But everyone should decide for himself,if he buys cartridges for 50 dollars or not.If you decide to make a SIPLIX cart,i will certainly buy one. In germany we have in the TV a show named "Verstehen sie Spass?" To translate this in english language is a little bit difficult, but this show is a little bit satiric, sometimes with black humour,at the costs of other people. So any words to Charles.Take it easy. greetings Gambler172

If there are 10 people willing to pay crazy prices for a minor graphic hack you will see more of this type of situation in the future. Going by this thinking the new Wolfenstein(Far from just a graphic hack) should be released in an early preview version for $150 a cart. And then I can release the normal version a few weeks later for $50 a cart( It is'nt going to happen ). My main problem with it is being over-protective of a hack and then being worried that someone will pirate your pirated hack. For anyone thinking that they have a rare and valuable cartridge because they payed a lot for it.....Buy some real rare Atari carts or a Homebrew where someone actually put some effort into making something new. I have no illusions about the hacks that I create. Most are just a new paint job on an existing game. I hack Atari games because for some reason I enjoy doing it. I just think it is cool that anybody else actually cares.
Atari Charles #10 Posted January 22, 2006 (edited) Froggo's Seahunt-->Rainbow Vision's Bi! Bi!-->Gray Games' Cyplix-->neotokeo2001's S.I.PLIX (silver_surfer,Fri Jan 20, 2006 7:06 PM)This is the best for sale thread ever. I wonder if Atari Charles is gonna pick up a copy? Actually I will. I won't pay $149.23, but your suggested amount on another thread of $50 with manual including postage. I'm serious! It is damn hillarious. And yes I'd like the cheapo label, but it'd still be cool if you could sign the back of the cart. It'd still be nice to get the Tron Man cart and manual sometime soon. (neotokeo2001 @ Fri Jan 20, 2006 7:30 PM)For $50 I'll whip up a manual and a cart for you. Of Course it can't have the same label. FireTiger #17 Posted February 12, 2006 Hey, at least Charles is willing to come tp the plate in terms of money when someone else is thowing his pitchs. Oh, BTW the wtermark is on the actual cart, becaue watermarks sre hard to capture graphicly and not as hard to remove they will beon the carts. Atari Charles #18 Posted February 24, 2006 (edited) If neotokeo2001 was able to get all three games in one cart(larger chip and bank switching), I think he'd have some serious buyers. I think it'd be a cool cartridge and I'd buy one. Edited February 24, 2006 by Atari Charles
Atari Charles #19 Posted May 30, 2006 S.I.PLIX I, II, II, IV, V I still think your parody of Cyplix is still quite funny. Why not come out with a cart that carries all 4 or 5 S.I.PLIX games on one cart using a eprom with larger memory. I checked out your site and came across this which made me laugh: http://home.bellsouth.net/p/s/community.dl...geid=249848&ck= A couple things though. I think your S.I.PLIX I is hacked from Cyplix NTSC and not CVyplix Conversion(Which is the Cyplix PAL reformatted to work on an NTSC TV), so you may wish to change the Cyplix Convesion Label to the NTSC label for Cyplix for accuracy's sake. I look forward to this page of your site being completed and I truly hope you'll write in detail about Cyplix and S.I.PLIX, the various incarnations of S.I.PLIX. And when are we goig to see S.I.PLIX in cart form for sale on your site or at Packrat? I want to pick up a cart as do may others here. Your parody is funny.
