Red 5 #1 Posted January 27, 2006 So I took a bit of a gamble on an ebay auction. It ended on a Sunday and the only description was 'atari'. I was surprised to find it said 'over 100 games with no duplicates.' I took a shot and won (for a nice low amount.) Anyway, the only picture from the auction is below. Can anyone pick out any titles for fun? With my sucky eyes, I have found: Venture Joust PacMan Battlezone Starmaster Superman ? (I think...loose, above Venture) Decathlon Missile Command? Air Sea Battle? Can anyone identify any others? The box has been sent and I should get it by Monday, I hope.
sku_u #2 Posted January 27, 2006 Hopefully your package won't arrive like that.
The_Laird #3 Posted January 27, 2006 I've also found: Dig Dug? (silver box) Starmaster Realsports Baseball? (silver) Combat Freeway
Foxsolo2000 #4 Posted January 27, 2006 So how much did you wint it for?
Red 5 #5 Posted January 27, 2006 So how much did you wint it for? 1007913 Just under $50. Also includes a working 6 switch, 2600 trakball (which I don't have ) and "random controllers" @ sku ---> After talking with the guy, I fully expect it to be shipped just like that. For the $ though, who's complaining. Plus, what is more fun than digging through a box of atari carts with your fingers crossed hoping to find a Quadrun or Chase the Chuckwagon. (In reality, I will probably get 2 or 3 label variations, but trade bait is worth it.) Any guesses on the box above venture? My guess is Galaxian. And how about the red box all the way to the left and the silver box below the starmaster?
Foxsolo2000 #6 Posted January 27, 2006 Very nice. You got a good deal there my friend

I used to work for USPS and a typical parcel will get it's ass kicked sevral times in the course of processing parcels.
Lord Helmet #8 Posted January 27, 2006 Plus, what is more fun than digging through a box of atari carts with your fingers crossed hoping to find a Quadrun or Chase the Chuckwagon. 1007917 That's one of the coolest things about collecting this stuff Be sure and post after you go through it all
Red 5 #9 Posted January 27, 2006 That's one of the coolest things about collecting this stuff Be sure and post after you go through it all 1007957 I'll post it all. And then post the duplicates for trade in the market place too. So... any more guesses ?

They figured you would never know since you couldn't see them in the photo. Just kidding. It's probably better the picture isn't clear. If there were a Commavid or other rare game sitting obviously in view, it would have had higher probability of being posted or poached.
bjk7382 #11 Posted January 27, 2006 I got lucky on a lot like that before. Won a lot of 30 games off of ebay for 30 bucks and there ended up being and Off Your Rocker in it. I ended up trading that one cart for both my 5200 and 7800 collections. You never know what is in there...

I'm stupid, but I ain't dumb !
shadow460 #13 Posted January 28, 2006 I agree with the one box being Galaxian. There's a Mythicon title in there next to Starmaster, but it's turned so you can't see the labels. You can tell by the dust guard, though, that it's a Mythicon game. Lower left looks like Warlords. The cart with its label missing in the middle left is a Data Age game. Underneath Galaxian and Venture, the cart with yellow letters looks like Slot Racers. Gonna take a guess that the white one in the lower right is Commando. The one south of Air Sea Battle could be Canyon Bomber, and I think the barely visible label underneath "Canyon Bomber" (next to Combat) is Night Driver. Below Dig Dug on the left side of the box, that appears to be a Video Touch Pad. I don't see the RS Baseball in there, but the silver label cart that's upside down does look like a RealSports title. I can't imagine which one, though. If it's Baseball, it's faded out. Who knows, though. I wear a 4.0 lens over one eye and a 4.25 over the other, so I could be way off and those could actually be SNES games. I might not be able to see the difference. If it's Baseball, it's faded out. 1008348 I've had trouble with that one too. It's obviously a silver label Atari title, and it looks like an RS title, but I can't make it out for anything. Looks like the package is due to arrive on Tuesday. I will post the results then. Nice call on the Mythicon. Edited January 28, 2006 by therealred5
