Classic Systems with LCD Projectors

Recommended Posts

Does anyone use a projector to play video games. I've heard that their may be burn-in issues on older projectors, but I don't have $1K to buy a new one. I'd love to get a used projector for $300-400 off ebay, but I'm afraid my classic video games will destroy it.

Any help or experience appreciated.

well..theres the LCD projectors.. and thre are the CRT projectors.. theres front projection and rear projection.. and yadda yadda..

but its my opinion that the damage that may be caused is that of burn in..

well.. thats not going to happen unless yer playing hours and hours of the same game with same basic screen..

now.. if yer the type of person that can go on a fifteen hour coke binged marathon of Keystone kapers while telling your freinds that this is where GTA got the idea from..

well.. you might have some problems..

baring that you should be fine..

I find that most video games move around enough where burn isn't really too much of an issue unless you really ARE playing the same thing for hours on end, or over use of the pause button..

I think that station ID tags in the corners of broadcasts are more dangerous than any video game..
