it's pal only...it's interesting that in ntsc mode nothing real happens... at least in atari800win...

What is this 256 scanlines described in the text? And switching between 50/60 Hz? The ST can do it, but I've never heard of an 8-bit Atari being able to do it.

 

The 8-bit can only do 240 scanlines and even then, the last line has to be something other then GR.0 or 8 else the display goes crazy.

Ah yes,

if you search for Atari demos, then visit Sven Gleich`s homepage...

I have updated the mega-images and added hundreds of demo files and last not least I included a gamedos (Mypicodos) which can load all these demos...

 

You will also find some mega-long-demos like Numen, Pit, Killer-Whales, etc. as *one single file* here (just look out for the 4-digit numbers)... greetings, Andreas Magenheimer.

 

P.S.: I have to update these mega-images again, since my own collection now has 25 mega-images (and is still growing everyday)...
