Almost a brag

A box of games at the thrift store.....Initial excitement......Pac Man, Combat.....Missile Command...yeah, yeah.....whatever, cmon cmon.....I just know there's a Miner II or somethin in here...Space Invaders, Asteroids, more commons....and then....nothin.....

 

All commons, but I DID go ahead and get the blue text bowling, cause I only have the red and picture ones....keep on searchin!

I can find easy to get carts complete in there boxes, no problem, but to find a rare cart or one that I don't already have is somthing I have never done.

King's been hitting jackpots lately:

 

Complete/boxed TI/99A-working, with a couple boxed games. $5

 

Commodore 128 (boxed/complete)

C=64 power supply (still no RF, AHHH!)

C=64 disk drive, with hookups.

Total price- *free*

 

 

Still no 2600 stuff though!

I found Spy Hunter (Sega) and Checkers (Activision) this week at the thrift store for 95 cents each. Spy Hunter didn't last too long, though. I've already given that one up in a trade.

 

Anybody got a spare Sears Checkers they'd like to trade for the Activision version?

Heh, yeah, imagine my surprise. I only wish there would been an Intellivision stuck in one of those boxes. Geez, nobody must have bought one around here. Man, I find enough games, but never a system.
