TomBrazil #376 Posted September 8, 2006 Here are other exotic carts that I got. Anyone knows about Tank-Man from Dynacom? Very odd, seems like an off standards cart. But seems original. BTW, I put some interesting stuff FS/FT: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=93371
Foxsolo2000 #377 Posted September 8, 2006 Tom I was told by a Brazillian collector that Tank Man was Tanks but no Tanks by Zimag. If you tell me it is something different I am going to be mighty upset
TomBrazil #378 Posted September 8, 2006 Tom I was told by a Brazillian collector that Tank Man was Tanks but no Tanks by Zimag. If you tell me it is something different I am going to be mighty upset I saw an opening screen so I presumed its Thunderground, unless Tanks but no Tanks has an opening screen also. I didnt started the game, though BTW, here's your picture.

Rom Hunter #380 Posted September 9, 2006 Tank-Man is indeed an one-of-a-kind from Dynacom, but I still don't know it's true identity. Would very much like to know it. Thanks for the back scan, Tom! It has been of great help.

Sr. Ferraz #383 Posted September 11, 2006 (edited) Dear friends Omegamatrix & Rom, Thank you very much ! ! ! I placed below a scan of cartridge with 32 games, does not 'seem' to be Brazilian, I wait that they appreciate. ### I added some photos and scans from cartridges, boxes and instructions: - Page 2 (Digivision) - Page 3 (J.F & Tecmagic) - Page 4 (Star Game, Game Action & Data Vision) - Page 5 ("Robby Stick" joystick) - Page 6 (Jogos Eletronicos, Special Game, Joystik, Video Game & Play Video) - Page 7 (Programa de Jogo Eletronico 'VCS', Shock Vision & Imagic) - Page 8 (Cartucho Programa) - Page 9 (MaxGames & Demon Video) - Page 10 (Conector) - Page 11 (DataSoft & Digitel) ### I added some names of games: - Page 2 (Digivision) - Page 3 (J.F., Tecmagic & Zirok) - Page 4 (Star Game, Game Action & Data Vision) - Page 6 (Jogos Eletronicos, Special Game, Engesoft & Auto Game) - Page 7 (Mega, Game Program by Cello's, Shock Vision & Imagic) - Page 8 (Cartucho Programa) - Page 9 (MaxGames, VideoSpot & Demon Video) - Page 10 (Digimax & Conector) - Page 11 (DataSoft & Digitel) ** Manufacturer 'FGE' has similar label to the one of the 'VideoMac' manufacturer. +Omegamatrix #384 Posted September 11, 2006 Hmmm, Interesting indeed. Some of that 32 game is written in English, and the rest looks poorly translated. Seems like a pirate of Atari's 32 in one cart. Does it roll on your TV? By the way I think YOUFO is the funniest title I've seen in a while.
Rom Hunter #385 Posted September 11, 2006 (edited) It contains exactly the same games as the 32 in One Game Cartridge from Atari. It's an interesting cart indeed, because it shows us where some of the strange game names come from. I would like to know if it's a PAL cartridge. Thanks for sharing, Sr. Ferraz! BTW: all new titles are added. Edited September 11, 2006 by Rom Hunter
Sr. Ferraz #386 Posted September 12, 2006 Dear friends, Really this cart is interesting and different. I 'made' three different tests with this cartridge. In my first and second test I used a Polyvox console (PAL-M). This console originally is NTSC, exists an internal transcoder to transform in PAL-M (60 Hz). *In my first test I used one 'old' TV (only PAL-M). The image was perfect, without 'lines' and with colors. *In my second test I used a modern TV (3 systems of colors). The image was perfect, without 'lines' and with colors. (system of TV in PAL-M) *In my third test I used a Atari Jr. console (NTSC) and a modern TV (3 systems of colors). The image was perfect, without 'lines' and with colors (see in the photos below, the perfect image is in NTSC system). The games are Frostbite and Boxing. The systems of TV are: NTSC / PAL-M (only Brazil) / PAL-N. I tested with all the games of the cart. I can presume after these tests that the cartridge is NTSC. You 'agree' Rom? Excellent Tuesday ! Rom Hunter #387 Posted September 12, 2006 (edited) I guess it's NTSC then. Well, this one is also NTSC: http://www.atarimania.com/detail_soft.php?...ERSION_ID=14371 Sr. Ferraz, Which game is Fire Ball from Zirok? Sr. Ferraz #388 Posted September 14, 2006 Dear Rom, In the auction the seller didn't answer the question about which the original name of the game, I does not have more the image of cart. ### I added some photos and scans from cartridges and boxes: - Page 2 (VGS) - Page 3 (Tecmagic) - Page 4 (Supergame) - Page 7 (Imagic) - Page 8 (JVP) - Page 10 (Conector & Polygame) - Page 11 (DataSoft & Digitel) ### I added some names of games: - Page 1 (Tiger Vision & Rentacom) - Page 2 (VGS) - Page 3 (Tecmagic) - Page 4 (Star Game, Argevision & Supergame) - Page 7 (Imagic) - Page 8 (JVP) - Page 10 (Conector & Polygame) - Page 11 - (Digitel) ** I have a bad image of the manufacturer 'Play Vision'. # Games: > River Raid ** Label from cartridge with name 'PC' has the image of a ship and a pyramid. The box is small, similar size of cart. # Games: * 8 in 1: > Seaquest / Mr. Postman / Megamania II / River Raid III / Donkey Kong / Marine Wars / Video Pimball / Spider Fighter ** I have a bad image of cart with name 'Video Game Club'. The cartridge is small, similar to the one with 'Video Jogo' name (page 1). # Games: > Enduro * I placed below images of cart with 'Teen' name. The user of AA that 'supplied' images did not inform the original name of the games...
Rom Hunter #389 Posted September 14, 2006 Thanks, Sr, Ferraz! Good to see a Play Vision cartridge. All new titles are added. Too bad we don't know the titles of the Teen carts.
Sr. Ferraz #390 Posted September 15, 2006 I don't know if it's interesting but I placed below images of a magazine and a newspaper from Brazil (in Portuguese) with 'records' of points in some old consoles (Atari, Colecovision, Intellivision, Odyssey) and computers ('logbook'). They are some games. > "O Globo" newspaper - December, 1984 > "Video Magia" Magazine - 1984 The name of the section is "Astros do Joystick (better/popstar with/of joystick) I improved the images for one better visualization. A great friend supplied these images to me. I wait that they appreciate. 22 years ! ! ! !

Rom Hunter #392 Posted September 19, 2006 Sr. Ferraz, I'm still looking for a nice scan of a Dactari cart and a El Duende Azul cart. Do you own these?
Marco #393 Posted September 19, 2006 My guess is that El Duende Azul comes from Argentina and/or Uruguay, rather than Brazil. Cheers, Marco
Rom Hunter #394 Posted September 19, 2006 That makes sense. Thanks, Marco.
Sr. Ferraz #395 Posted September 20, 2006 Dear Rom, Marco is correct, Dactari (Dactar, Milmar) uses the name 'Smurf' in this game. Good day
Rom Hunter #396 Posted September 20, 2006 (edited) What I mean is: I'm looking for a better Dactari cart scan. This is the only one I found so far: Could you post a better scan of a Dactari cart? I want to use it for the Atarimania database. Also, I have never seen a El Duende Azul cart. Does someone on this forum own one? Sr. Ferraz #397 Posted September 21, 2006 (edited) Dear Rom, I have the game 'Smurf' from Dactar, 'El Duende Azul' I don't have. I have some boxes and several carts from Dactar, with the 'Dactari' name it's more difficult to find. (first series) I placed below one scan with 300 dpi of the Kaboom game (great archive) and a bad photo of the game Star Voyager. I also placed one scan of cart 'VideoGames & Computer Entertainment' that TomBrazil placed photos without informing the names of the games and other information. * I bought a cart with name 'VideoGames & Computer Entertainment', the original name of the manufacturer is "Kistron Ltda". * Games: - 4 in 1: >> Command Raid / Frostbite / Keystone Kapers / Seaquest Peace, love and health for all Edited October 25, 2007 by Sr. Ferraz
Sr. Ferraz #398 Posted September 21, 2006 (edited) The cartridge with name 'Robby' Game has three labels, label of the front and behind they are equal in all carts, only modifies the name of the game and number (front) and the number (behind). See photos with details. The number that also appears in the front appears behind in the right inferior part. The manual (instructions) is simple. In the initial screen of the games 'Atlantis' & 'Pac-Man' appears 'Robby Game'. In the initial screen of the games 'Enduro' & 'Megamania' appears 'Robby >> Game', in the game appears 'Robby'. In the initial screen from TV in the games Grand Prix, Seaquest and Volleyball appears 'Robby', in the Volleyball game during the game also it appears. One another model of label in the gray color also exists, the 'number' of the game in it is in end label (label behind is equal to the one of the front). # Games: > Atlantis (27) > Blueprint (33) > Chopper Command (45) > Commando Raid (22) >> Cosmic Ark (appears to be 51) > Enduro (10) > Flash Gordon (17) > Frogger (35) > Grand Prix (56) > Keystone Kapers (39) > Megamania (21) > Mouse Trap (25) > Mr. Postman > Pac-Man (54) > Pitfall (63) > River Raid (18) > Seaquest (42) > Volleyball (11) Edited July 17, 2012 by Sr. Ferraz

Rom Hunter #400 Posted September 22, 2006 (edited) Thanks for the rare Dactari scans, Sr. Ferraz. Also thanks for the Robby cart scans. I was still missing some model numbers. BTW: is there a list of all the games that Robby released? Edited September 22, 2006 by Rom Hunter
