SHAGOHOD X99
I didn't even realize Elevator Action had gotten a release on the ATARI 2600 VCS, and now that I know about it I'd like to find me a copy (don't care if it's CIB, just nice cartridge) for my collection. Since the Atari Ages website has it listed as a reproduction and self published, just how hard is it to get one if you weren't at that CGE event where it was unleashed? Zach
Better yet make your own cart;) 1018596 This takes some skill as it's an 8K SARA chip (extended memory) game.
Omegamatrix
It might be hard to find. If you're just in the market for a reproduction (not the same series that got released at CGE) then there is one person off the top of my head who makes good repos. Not to mention his name, but I'll say he is a WIZ at what he does. He must have the brain of a CPU to pull off his craft.

If so that's a bit too much for me, I'm interested in finding one already made and ready to go, much the same as any cartridge one would buy. It might be hard to find. CPUWIZ
The only way to play this is on a Cuttle Cart or Kroko Cart, SuperCharger will not work, as this is a 8K SuperChip (aka. SARA) game. Making one of these would not be trivial, as there are no PCB's available that support the SuperChip (yet ). I'd take sku_u up on his offer, or pay through the nose on ePay for one. Mayhem
How about the value of an unopened one? Yeah, I wasn't at CGE 2001 (2002 was my first) but I got the game off someone in the UK and was surprised to find it wasn't opened (the Combat 2 I also got from him was however). I can pay PayPal but I'd prefer to use US Postal Money Order simply because I'm trying not to use the card too much as I need to pay some bills off first, but will if I have to. I can provide stellar feedback from various places I have done business with ppl if any respective sellers of this game should see this thread and want to sell. To those who said EBAY, I've been checking and nada mucho is all I see on this one, and a man's got to sleep sometime.

SHAGOHOD X99
Pretty steep though. Might have to pay the bill by becoming a guinea pig and testing some new experimental drugs for a pharmaceutical company. 1021768 Yeah I saw that a few minutes ago actually. I'd bite but I don't have that kind of money to burn right now sadly. I mean I'm used (well I was in the past) to paying those kinds of prices for Neo:Geo AES/MVS carts but for a 2600 game? ---Sad thing is I'd pay it if I had it to burn but if I'm going to spend that amount I'd need to be getting more than one game. It's tempting but I'd deserve it when my wife kicked me square in the ass when she saw the VISA bill, so probably not this time. I'm sure I could find it as a ROM for emulation but I like to own the actual product. {Me wonders if I'll ever get me a copy of this}

Why don't you just download the rom and try it out then? It's in AA's rarity guide.

If not they come up from time to time on Ebay. 1021890 It's cool, but you could've even PMed me and asked for $80.00 and I'd have bought right then and there too. *Of course when ppl say "Reproduction" cart we're talking about a normal 2600 looking cartridge here like what is pictured on the game at the Atari Age website right? I did some more checking though on the game last night and learned it doesn't even have sound, let alone music (I always loved the theme). Didn't realize that @ first actually. I knew it was an unreleased prototype but I had thought someone had finished it then released a small copy of them. Thus knowing that now, it be hard for me to pay anything more than $80.00 cause it just wouldn't be the same without the sound. The bugs and floating in air thing I could handle. Oh well, I lost out on the one you were selling cause I'm mortal and had to get some sleep. [someday]
