rockman_x_2002 #3 Posted February 18, 2006 I'm sure Hardwork and his team would be glad to take you up on the offer soon as "Knight Rider 2600" gets wrapped up later this year.
jaybird3rd #4 Posted February 18, 2006 I'm sure I can help you ... I'm warm to BASIC, and I'm no dummy, and I've got some great Kinko's connections. I'll get back to you as soon as I finish learning 6502 assembly and the entire 7800 architecture and build a development system; I figure I can get that out of the way this weekend if I really push. In the meantime, you might want to take a look at this.

If your such a Phreak why would you not want to take this undertaking yourself? Or do you get other people to dial the phone for you too?

Bakasama #17 Posted February 21, 2006 im serious about this project... this will make an excellent grade for me and a few hundred bucks for anybody who wants to sell this crappy game on cartridges 1021929[/snapback] I believe that is the fundamental flaw in your gamemaking philosophy. You have not clearly stated how the game plays nor provided any mock ups to help sell your idea. Your biggest selling point is making a quick buck from "this crappy game" and getting a great grade for your class? Get out, you uncultured heathen!

Even if such a thing existed, though, he wants somebody else to do all the work for him. Sad.

jaybird3rd #22 Posted February 21, 2006 If you're really commited to doing this, and if you really want serious help from the people on these boards, here's what you have to do first: Learn the basics of 6502 assembly. This might be a good place to start. Alternatively, you can look around online for some used 6502 books (I'd recommend the ones by either Zaks or Leventhal). Read this document and this document from front to back. Install the MESS emulator and a good cross-assembler so you can test your programs. Get your hands on some source code that you can learn from, and experiment with it. Here's a good place to start. Once you've got all that figured out, and once you've developed your gameplay ideas and can ask specific technical questions, let us know.
