dwh #3 Posted February 20, 2006 That's bizzare.I'm surprised ebay allows such auctions at all. Pretty carry case for your 10 Combat cartridges!
Radio F Software #4 Posted February 20, 2006 Combat (2 of them), Pitfall, Space Invaders, Pac Man (2 of them), ET, Frogger, Asteroids, and Missile Command. My predictions. Very rare indeed. So rare I am sitting on a freaking goldmine right now.

Close your eyes, stick your hand out in front of you and grab something. It's not very likely that you're gonna pick up a Combat cartridge, is it?? See how rare it is?? He means rare in the absolute sense. Edited February 21, 2006 by spacecadet
phaxda #6 Posted February 21, 2006 Don't bother bidding if you are a "rookie". http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=7384911955 That's bizzare.I'm surprised ebay allows such auctions at all.Pretty carry case for your 10 Combat cartridges! 1021491 Well, you gotta look at the big picture. Radio F Software #9 Posted February 21, 2006 Man, I want to print out a bunch of $1 bills with my face on them, stuff them all inside a safety deposit box, and sell that box on eBay.
Shawn #10 Posted February 21, 2006 I just sent the seller this: using www.atariage.com 's rarity scale from 1 to 10 how rare are the rare games in this box? I'm not asking for names of the games I just want to be sure of there minimum rarity as lots of people that know nothig about atari think that a pacman cart is rare when really it's only worth $1 dollar or less. I just want to know there reallt is actually rare games involved in this auction and not some type of under informed persons or just a scam (no offense). Anyone think I'll actually get a response? I dont.
YOK-dfa #11 Posted February 21, 2006 Anyone think I'll actually get a response? I dont. 1021725 Three things can happen: 1) You get a response telling that all the games are common 2) You don't hear anything from the seller. Then you can assume they are all common 3) The auction is suddenly cancelled and the seller starts new auctions for a Quadrun, Malagai and a Videolife. Shawn #12 Posted February 21, 2006 Well to my suprise I actually did get a response from the seller in regards to the games and there rairty per AA guide listings!! Here is what the seller has to say, and I quote: Hi, I looked them all up. Kinda hard finding the actual scale thing. Anyhow, some rated as a 3, 2, and a few as question marks. I am not trying to scam anyone... I didnt really think that they are a big deal ! There are 9 games in this chest... so no matter how you look at it... it is worth the money. Thanks for showing me that neat page. God Bless, MD So I'm assuming a Snoopy or something and maybe a Tiwan Cooper or a zellers cart or two..lol.. Zwackery #14 Posted February 21, 2006 I'm curious enough to kick in a few bucks and see if we could raise a pool to see what is in the box (having not completely thought through the logistics of this), or just ask Trench to bid on it. The shipping cost does seem a bit excessive.
diggs130 #15 Posted February 21, 2006 I asked a few questions myself~ replys- Hi, The chest weighs next to nothing so it really wouldnt change the shipping amount. Sorry. -- Blessings.... xxxooo Melissia Hi, OOPS! Sorry about that. There are 10 games ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Its trying to tempt me the damn chest!!!! taxman #16 Posted February 22, 2006 Let's just contact the winner to find out what the games were. It sounds fishy when they claim some are rare and then in an e-mail reply, the seller admits they don't know sh*t about these.
Almost Rice #17 Posted February 22, 2006 Why hide it if its so rare. People would bid it up if they knew what it was. Knowing nothing, they would be lucky to get their starting bid.

Zwackery #19 Posted February 27, 2006 Less than 90 minutes to go...is anybody thinking about bidding? Should I be so curious about the contents? I'm feeling a little Mardi Gras madness coming on. The shipping is kinda ridiculous...wonder if local pickup is okay...
