holygrailvideogames.com #1 Posted February 21, 2006 Two boxed Quadrun's on eBay this year. I guess it isn't as rare as I thought. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...me=STRK:MEWA:IT

jetset #4 Posted February 21, 2006 PayPal will be accepted, as long as it is not from a credit card. I thought it was a no-no to refuse credit card payments anymore? Especially when this... ...is pictured in the auction. Aren't the fees the same whether the money comes from a credit card or checking acct transfer? Why would he possibly refuse credit card payment, if not to take away what little protection the buyer has???
CPUWIZ #5 Posted February 21, 2006 I guess it isn't as rare as I thought. Think again, because it is actually more rare than you thought. VGA's doesn't count anyway, because it's the same one that sold on AA before. Same with River Patrol, if you count it by sales, you are counting the same carts over and over. If the seller has "upgraded" their account then the fees are the same no matter where the money is from. In this case, I assume the seller hasn't upgraded and pays no fees on non-credit card payments. Its always possible the seller is refusing CC payment to rip off the buyer, but more than likely he's just trying to avoid fees.

Nevertheless, it would seem to me that he is being a little dishonest either way. Meh. I'm not bidding anyway, it's already 10X more than I'd pay. Rare or not, the game still sucks. Buyatari #17 Posted February 23, 2006 I never go so far as to email eBay but I'm glad someone did and eBay ended it. I don't pay with credit card but I know some buyers like it just in case the seller screws them over. If he wants to sell on ebay and take paypal then he has to play by the rules. This is just as bad as sellers who want to charge a % for paypal usage. If ebay doesn't enforce this then the buyers are the ones who suffer.

Sure, it didn't have the box, but tell me you'd turn that down! 1023051 ..Depends on the condition of the label. 1023107 Not for me it doesn't. If I found a cart with the label torn off so badkly I could only read the letters "drun" on the last soda stained little bit of it, I'd grab it instantly and make a new label for it. Sure Sub Commander is only R5, but I got one that had evidently been dropped into some water and left for a while. The label was soaked almost off, and there was a slew of rust inside the cart. I got an Alien Brigade with no cart case at all. Both of them have new labels. Of course, if I ever sell a cart with a remade label, I will list that it's remade in the auction, or tell potential buyers it's been remade before they decide to buy.
