Seawolf Gone Crazy?

Weird I was sitting around playing Seawolf and suddenly I had 844,770 points and unlimited submarine lives Has this happened to anyone else? Speak up Manuel, did you put some type trick on the cart?

My guess is that the guy who did the pixel art for the mines screwed up something in the game. What a hack!

When did you buy your copy of Seawolf?

 

There was somebody who posted about this soon after AA put the game in their store. Their young kid was playing the game and also "discovered" the unlimited lives bug. There's a thread about it somewhere.

 

IIRC, Albert and Manuel released a fixed version soon after and AA sent out new carts in exchange for this "bug" version.

 

However, you could consider your cart as slightly more rare than mine( fixed version ). This is kinda like the Demon Attack of homebrews.

This is indeed a confirmed bug of early versions that unfortunately escaped all beta testing. I hope it doesn't ruin the experience for you. It should be pretty rare.

No problems at all I have had the cart for over a year and it has happened once, I will just consider it a "bonus gift"

Now that Seawolf is being sold in black carts the Clear Blue version will go up up up in rarity and my "endless lives version" will be the creme of the crop, worth at least 400 American Dollars
