Anyone got an old full-height 360K floppy drive?

Recommended Posts

I'm working on a project, and I need an old 360K full-height drive like the ones that came in PC/XT machines. Let me know if you have one in a pile of stuff somewhere.

Heh, that's kind of funny. I recently was looking all around to get one so I could write out TI SS/SD disks. Modern 5.25s and low FM density doesn't play well :(

Finally did get one. NIB too :)

tHere is a tandy pc 1000 at my local GW that is like 4 bucks for the whole machine and I think it has 2 full 5.25 drives. I could look for you to see if its still there if you have not found one yet.

I have a regular 5.25 drive if that would do you any good. If your interested (or anyone else for that matter) you can have it for the price of shipping. It worked when it was used last like 10 years ago...

That would be cool. And yes, it does need to be full height.

Hey Bry,

There are 2 used computer stores around me, but I don't know what the drive you want looks like. Could you post a picture for me?
