NightSprinter #1 Posted March 12, 2006 Does anyone know of a decent emulator of the Tandy CoCo3 for Windows outside of MESS? Plus for MESS how to load .bin files, since all I see is this huge red "X" next to the name. Off-topic, but what's with the "too many images selected" bug in MESS? It affects way too many drivers. jaybird3rd #2 Posted March 12, 2006 The only one I know of offhand is one that Jeff Vavasour (of Digital Eclipse) developed; he's done a lot of work with emulation of the TRS-80 and CoCo series of Tandy computers. Here is a link to the CoCo 3 section of his web site.
madcrow #3 Posted March 21, 2006 I know of another one found at http://www.discover-net.net/~dmkeil/ These seem like updated versions of the Vavasour emulators actually. They're nominally shareware, but I haven't noticed any restrictions. The only problem is that they need DOS or a DOS-based version of Win32 to work well. There's no sound on my Win2K box.
