Should there be a greatestgames alltime list by users of this site?

I am wondering because dp has one the results of theirs is starting to show. Theirs was made from every using choosing 25 games they think are the great in an order with the lists being pm. Their results are found

I think if one should happen here should have some changes from the one over there.

Greatest Asterisk Ever lists exist for 2 purposes.

1: generate extra "news".

2: flamebait.

 

It's absolutely relative, and you won't get 2 people to agree to a list, much less the whole world. Hell, my top * varies from week to week.

Fine. I vote Beat 'Em and Eat 'Em for all whatever # of entries.

You always get a predictable outcome with these things. All of the really groundbreaking original titles peak in the low 20s, after which you get the general crowd pleasers that most agree on liking.

So number one is invariably a Zelda or Mario game.

I don't see what point there'd be in going through all this again.
