bangles66 #1 Posted December 13, 2001 What ONE game or console would you like to buy but can't afford or bring yourself to spend the money on? My one item would be COKE WINS! aka (pepsi invaders) Just thought this might be a fun topic for the middle of the week.

jahfish #7 Posted December 13, 2001 nice thought! if money wouldn't matter .... i wouldn't be broke! again one of my projects was canceled and my money sources are drying out ... if money wouldn't matter .... then i'd have goliath and columbia consoles, all brasilian carts, every cartridge signed by the programmers while visiting them, and atariage.com would be mine. i would regurlarly invite you to come over to my atarian palace in atariville. and for sure i'd offer you free flight tickets with my own Atari Airlines company. We would build atariforce's spaceship and be the first humans playing atari (moon patrol: hacked to 'mars patrol' by chris) on mars. how does that sound? jahfish #8 Posted December 13, 2001 off topic? .... ok, then just let me have the first cart ever produced by atari. or one of the first official carts ever sold. nolan .... can u sign this one for me? ok, cool ... now it's perfect!
AtariDude #9 Posted December 13, 2001 If I had to chose one console, I would have to say the Neo Geo. I remember that a friend of mine used to have it and the system was awesome. I also remember some of the awesome prices that went with it ($200 per game). I know that I could buy one probably on EBay but right now, I want to concentrate on adding Atari games and not have to start collecting games for an entirely new system. liquid_sky #14 Posted December 14, 2001 Ive heard alot of good things about the nomad. Being able to play Shining Force whereever I want is a very good thought indeed. I also need a genesis, getting a nomad would be getting one of those too (stil have all my games well all 12 of em lol.. sold the system a year ago or so)

Ze_ro #16 Posted December 15, 2001 Hard decision... I'd have to say one of the following: Original Pong arcade machine Wizard of Wor arcade machine Berzerk arcade machine NeoGeo (Home version) Original Odyssey with all parts Vectrex Chances are, the Odyssey wouldn't see a lot of use though, and since NeoGeo games are so damn expensive (You did say ONE game/console), I'd probably have to go for the Vectrex first... then the arcade machines. --Zero
Adrian M #17 Posted December 15, 2001 The one gaming-related item that I want (and have my eye on right now) is a full-size Pac-Man arcade unit for my living room. There's a dealer in a city near me that has several of these in stock. I want it to be as original as possible (minimal restoration) and in good condition. This is the game that got me hooked on video games way back in 1982 when I was in first grade and as such, it deserves a permanent home in my living room. jahfish #18 Posted December 15, 2001 uuuuuh yeah, that golden VCSp would make my eyes shine. or maybe one of these hotel consoles for my bedroom

Krusher #22 Posted December 30, 2001 A JAMMA cabinet or a Supergun. Of course, even though money IS an object, I'll buy one of those sooner or later. ^_^ TJ
jahfish #23 Posted January 6, 2002 i guess i'll get myself a Mame-cabinet, before getting addicted to the original ones .... i just have an offer for a pac-man flipper, for only 150$. but it's 400 miles from me, and shipping would be way too much (about 200$) but maybe any of the german board members is interested? i can pass you the phone number ... greetings
Atari-Jess #24 Posted January 6, 2002 well im getting an XEGS very soon so i suppose that doesn't go, i suppose now if i could get any item i wanted now, I would say (even though it doesn't exist) a laptop milan running past 1ghz and autoslows down old games from ST's I would set up a team to create one
IceCold #25 Posted January 13, 2002 I would either get a sega cd with all games, a sega saturn with all games, or a 32x with all games. Actually probably not a 32x, i had one with 5-10 games and ended up selling it on ebay for $15 because I didn't like it.
