We would build atariforce's spaceship and be the first humans playing atari (moon patrol: hacked to 'mars patrol' by chris) on mars.

If I had to chose one console, I would have to say the Neo Geo. I remember that a friend of mine used to have it and the system was awesome. I also remember some of the awesome prices that went with it ($200 per game). I know that I could buy one probably on EBay but right now, I want to concentrate on adding Atari games and not have to start collecting games for an entirely new system.

Ive heard alot of good things about the nomad. Being able to play Shining Force whereever I want is a very good thought indeed. I also need a genesis, getting a nomad would be getting one of those too (stil have all my games well all 12 of em lol.. sold the system a year ago or so)

yes you can play your shining force where ever ya want, im just glad i got one of the last ones that Toys R Us had brand new i payed $100 for it back then

Hard decision... I'd have to say one of the following:

 

Original Pong arcade machine

Wizard of Wor arcade machine

Berzerk arcade machine

NeoGeo (Home version)

Original Odyssey with all parts

Vectrex

 

Chances are, the Odyssey wouldn't see a lot of use though, and since NeoGeo games are so damn expensive (You did say ONE game/console), I'd probably have to go for the Vectrex first... then the arcade machines.

The one gaming-related item that I want (and have my eye on right now) is a full-size Pac-Man arcade unit for my living room.

 

There's a dealer in a city near me that has several of these in stock. I want it to be as original as possible (minimal restoration) and in good condition. This is the game that got me hooked on video games way back in 1982 when I was in first grade and as such, it deserves a permanent home in my living room.

well im getting an XEGS very soon so i suppose that doesn't go, i suppose now if i could get any item i wanted now, I would say (even though it doesn't exist) a laptop milan running past 1ghz and autoslows down old games from ST's I would set up a team to create one

I would either get a sega cd with all games, a sega saturn with all games, or a 32x with all games. Actually probably not a 32x, i had one with 5-10 games and ended up selling it on ebay for $15 because I didn't like it.
