ColecoVision and Intellivision anger

I still do not have the powersupply for the colecovision, the old owners cant find It and I am so damn impatient I seriously am about to smash it ("thats it!, give in to your anger, give in to the darkside...") Same with my intellivision of which I also cant use thanks to the damn shoddy Intellivision II controllers ARGH!!!!!! I AM SO PISSED RIGHT NOW AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Are the INTV 2 controllers worse then the INTV 1 handsets? As a UK resident, I've never seen a 2.

yuno how intv 1 controllers have lil bubbles on the buttons? the intv 2 controllers dont. all flat, you barely know you pressed anything...

I thought i read somewhere that you could switch the controllers with the older model, (but first you would have to have a dead older model)

 

Wasnt someone on this site thinking of making a new kind of controller for the old system cause they hated the disc controllers?

There is no way in hell I would EVER pay roughly 65 CND for 2 damn intellivision controllers.
